The Hiatus
January 25th, 2009Soooo… you may have noticed how quiet I’ve been over here. My life picked up a bit right around the holiday season and it won’t be calming down for awhile yet.
Here’s the dealo:I landed not one, but two sweet jobs. Needless to say, I’ve been busy. Sadly, too busy to go to Krav.
I miss it so much. My Restless Leg Syndrome has slowly returned and my figure has started to return back to being soft and less toned.
As soon as life settles down a bit, I’ll be back.
In the meantime, let me know how your Krav Maga experiences are going!

Hi, Kravazon. I just read your entry about punching tearing up your hands. Another tip is to keep your focus on punching with only the top 2 knuckles. When you’re holding your fist sideways, coffee cup style, the inside blade of your arm should be completely straight all the way down to your first knuckle. This will cause your 1st 2 knuckles to protrude just slightly past the rest & give you a stronger and safer-to-you strike. Until your hands heal you should do palm heel strikes or you’ll get some serious scars where they keep being re-wounded. Of course, you’re on hiatus, so your hands are probably healed, but anyway…hope you get to train again soon!
