This story is particularly scary, because it makes you realize you could be attacked at anytime, anywhere. I always assume victims, especially women, would be attacked when alone. But imagine you’re walking home with your boyfriend, husband, friend and someone decides they want to hurt you.
I have a sudden desire to train harder, faster, and more frequently…
Okay. I hate to do this, but I’ve just spent the last hour watching Gina Carano, the poster girl for MMA fighting, kick the crap out of people. She’s definitely a girl to look up to. She’s tough, beautiful, strong-willed, hardworking, and down-to-earth. Anyway, she’s my new muse for my Krav Maga classes, so I thought I’d share some videos I’ve been watching.
After you watch her kick the crap out of Kelly Kobold on October 4th, go watch her warm-up. The sound her strikes make when they hit the pad are terrifying.
And THEN, if you still don’t have a girl-crush on her, go check her out on American Gladiators. Yep. You guessed it. She’s Crush.
Now I can’t WAIT to get to Krav tonight. Also starting to consider taking some Muay Thai classes. Anyone out there have any experience taking Muay Thai?
